Provider and contracting party

The app is provided by Thomas Hoche / Joshua Tree Labs, Am Carlusbaum 11, 65812 Bad Soden am Taunus, Germany. Contact: [email protected]. Apple is your contracting party for App Store payment and billing; these terms additionally govern use of the app.

Apple Standard EULA

Unless these terms provide otherwise, OneTapCut is licensed under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. Mandatory Apple rules and consumer-law rights prevail where required.

Scope of service

OneTapCut creates automatic edit suggestions, previews and exports from selected drone, action and video clips. The app provides local analysis, activities such as landscape, sport and selfie, scene selection, transitions, royalty-free music options, timeline review and export from original media where source material and device capabilities allow.

Local editing and Premium AI

Local editing is included in the app and works without mandatory cloud AI upload. Premium AI and Power AI are optional App Store subscriptions for additional AI scoring using reduced proxy data and monthly AI credits. AI credits are usage limits, have no cash value, are not transferable and are not paid out. Unused credits may expire or reset at the end of the billing period.

Subscriptions, prices and renewal

Price, currency, duration, trial offers and taxes are shown only by the App Store / StoreKit before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in Apple ID settings. Billing is handled through your Apple Account. Manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple subscription settings or at https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple, for example through https://reportaproblem.apple.com/. Joshua Tree Labs cannot directly refund App Store payments and has no access to full payment data.

AI results and user review

Automatic analysis and Premium AI provide edit suggestions, not a guarantee of perfect creative decisions. You must review preview, timeline, music, transitions, format and export before saving, publishing or sharing a video. The app may misjudge fast pans, takeoff/landing, poor composition or uninteresting scenes.

Quality, formats and device dependency

OneTapCut tries to preserve frame rate, resolution, aspect ratio and quality of source media as well as possible and offers quality options. Export results depend on source material, codecs, Apple media frameworks, device performance, storage and chosen settings. Bit-for-bit identical output cannot be guaranteed when editing, transitions, music mixing or conversion are applied.

User content and rights

You must hold all rights and permissions for imported videos, people shown, locations, brands, music and exported content. OneTapCut does not replace review of drone-flight law, privacy, personality rights, copyright, platform rules or consent from people shown.

Music and third-party content

Music offered in the app is labelled to the best of our knowledge as royalty-free or Creative-Commons-compatible. Follow the displayed licence and attribution information. For your own music or external files, you are solely responsible for rights, licences and platform clearance.

Prohibited use

You may not use the app for unlawful surveillance, harassment, privacy violations, unsafe drone operation, bypassing subscriptions or AI limits, reverse engineering, scraping, attacking servers or models, or content that violates third-party rights or applicable law.

Availability and changes

We aim for stable app and proxy availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Third parties such as Apple, Cloudflare, Railway, OpenRouter or model providers may fail or change their terms. Features, models, music lists, limits and supported formats may be adjusted for technical, legal or economic reasons.

Liability

We are fully liable for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence, liability exists only for breach of material contractual obligations and is limited to foreseeable typical damages. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Applicable law, dispute resolution and contact

German law applies unless mandatory consumer protection in your country of residence prevails. We are not obliged and not willing to participate in consumer arbitration proceedings. Contact for support and contractual questions: [email protected].
